EnerSys® Enters into Agreement with Premier Hospitality Sales to Expand NexSys® PURE Battery Distribution

READING, Pennsylvania, July 29, 2020 – EnerSys® (NYSE:ENS), the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, is increasing its NexSys® PURE battery product distribution through an agreement with Premier Hospitality Sales. Under the agreement, EnerSys® will be able to further reach professionals in the hospitality, education, commercial cleaning and facility maintenance industries throughout Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

NexSys® PURE batteries, manufactured with advanced Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology, provide virtually maintenance-free power for a variety of floor care applications, including scrubbers, sweepers, burnishers and extractors. With no watering requirements, no battery washing or long equalizing charges, they not only save operators time spent on labor-intensive upkeep procedures, but also eliminate the risk of damaging acid spills on floors and carpets.

“Cleaning professionals need convenient and reliable power that will perform consistently during the entire shift,” said Edward Pogue, Sales Manager, NexSys Products Americas at EnerSys. “NexSys® PURE batteries are uniquely engineered to provide a user-friendly, cost-effective solution that drives operational performance and productivity. We look forward to our partnership with Premier Hospitality Sales to offer their customers a premium power solution during a time when it is needed the most.”

With a low self-discharge rate, excellent cycle life and superior storage life, NexSys® PURE batteries have the resilience to perform after months of inactivity. This is a key benefit for equipment that has been sitting idle since the shutdown in March. They can be fast-charged, are suitable for opportunity charging during breaks or at the end of a shift and can even be put back into service before they are fully charged. Due to their sealed construction, NexSys® PURE batteries emit minimal gas, making them ideal for use in schools, retail spaces and other sensitive environments.

“Our customers are in search of a dependable battery solution that is going to deliver increased power with minimal downtime,” said Jeremy Graham, Vice President of Sales, Premier Hospitality Sales. “We’re excited to work with EnerSys to provide them with a breakthrough battery technology to address their operational needs.”
